Improve your rowing technique with our skilled physical therapist and rower, Natalie Ormond! Natalie can help you break down the stroke to optimize the power that you are looking for. With her skills to assess muscle strength and imbalance, she can help create a customized exercise routine that you can work on at home to improve symmetry, fluidity and decrease potential injury.


What to Expect
- A full physical therapy evaluation of motor control, reflexes, muscle agility, neural connectivity and proprioception
- Assess your typical rowing pattern on the ergometer
- Adjust your technique to maximize body position and optimize motion
- Assess VO2 Max, power curves and maximum power output
- Adjust skeletal imbalances through manual therapy techniques such as mobilizations, dry needling, cupping etc.
- Receive a customized home exercise plan to work on for improving imbalances
- Utilize Pilates reformers as a beneficial cross-training format to balance core and hip strength
Your Physical Therapist and Coach
Natalie graduated from SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn for her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, including a BS in Public Health in 2010. She is a level 2 certified US Rowing coach. With her passion for rowing, she is starting Peak Rowing Club at Standley Lake that will eventually accommodate master, veteran, adaptive and teen rowers.
