Strength Training Class

Our Strength Training Class is designed for individuals of all fitness levels and can accommodate those managing osteoporosis and osteopenia, as well as anyone with physical limitations due to injury or other health conditions. Led by physical therapists, who are exercise experts, this class offers an inclusive environment where all participants can work towards building strength, enhancing balance, as well as improving agility and mobility.

Inclusive Programming: This class is designed to be beneficial for individuals at any fitness level, accommodating participants with modifications for most limitations. Whether you’re looking to increase strength, improve agility, or enhance balance and mobility, our class has something for everyone. 

Expert Guidance and Modifications: With physical therapists as our instructors, participants can feel confident knowing that exercises can be modified based on individual needs and capabilities. Our physical therapists are skilled in providing personalized modifications and adjustments, ensuring that everyone can participate safely and effectively.

Strength and Conditioning Training: This class has a well-rounded approach to strength and conditioning, incorporating a variety of exercises to target different muscle groups, and enhance overall fitness. Participants will take part in a variety of resistance training with weights and bands, agility drills, as well as balance and mobility exercises. 

Functional Training: Our class will include exercises simulating real-life movements to improve functional strength and mobility. These exercises that develop strength, agility, and mobility, will translate to improved performance in daily activities, whether it’s lifting groceries, climbing stairs, or enjoying activities with grandchildren. 

If you are interested in attending this class, however, are unsure if this class would be appropriate for you to take, we also offer 30 minute private exercise sessions.  In these one-on-one sessions, one of our skilled physical therapists will take you through similar exercises in order to determine your comfort level with attending classes.
